Here is a listing and descriptions for some of the best decks that can be made from using Arena 3 cards in the Barbarian Bowl.
All of the decks listed will contain cards that must be unlocked by reaching Arena 3. You may not have access to some cards if you are unable to enter the Barbarian Bowl.

Air and Ground Attack
This deck is an offensive build that has a combination of air units and ground units. On the ground, the Knight, Goblins, Bomber, and Barbarians can take care of enemy units and bulldoze through your opponent's defenses. In the air, Minions and Baby Dragon bring the pain from above and can avoid some counters to your ground units from your opponent. Besides things like arrows or other air units, your opponent will be focused on dealing with what you have on the ground and fail to address what you have in the air, giving you an opening to victory.
The Witch in this deck adds more ground support with her summoned skeletons. It helps add more forces to your attacks and defenses, especially if you have to compensate and adjust to defeat a strong enemy unit. The Barbarians wil definitely make quick work on strong units on the ground, since not only are they each individually strong, but also come in a pack of four.
Strength in numbers is the name of the game here. Not only do you have cards that are cost efficient to your Elixir, but you also summon many units to the field with each play. You want to be able to overwhelm your opponent with a continuous stream of new units entering the battlefield. Both the Goblin and Barbarian huts are great for keeping your numbers high, as well as each of the separate cards themselves for summoning more units. ClashRoyaleTooL.Info
Your biggest issue is when your opponent plays cards that affect a wide area, defeating most of your weaker units. To prevent this, always keep another card on hand to counter with in case you see a Fireball or Arrows played. The Giant Skeleton is your main tank of the deck, which can deal damage to all units and drops a bomb when defeated. However, you can substitute this with other cards like the Prince or even a Witch if you want to keep a big number of units on the field. But if you want the extra push of strength for your big army, keep the Giant Skeleton.
The X-Bow
This is a deck where the main focus is to use the X-Bow to kill towers. When an X-Bow is placed in the right spot, it can take away all of the health of an enemy tower if it remains on the field. This can be a bit tedious at first, but it is possible depending on how your opponent plays their cards. You can protect the X-Bow from groups of enemies with Arrows or your own group of units like Baby Dragon or Valkyrie.
Rocket is a card that cost a lot of Elixir, but can turn the tide of the match if played at the right time. Usually towards the end of a match when towers have taken a lot of damage, a well placed Rocket can be the deciding factor to ending the game. Other solid cards are Tombstone and Goblin Barrel, which can bring out a lot of units to the field as a counter or extra attack push.

The Most Important Concept in Clash Royale
This article is about Elixir Advantage, a strategic understanding of the gameâs resources. You are probably doing some things in this article already, with or without realizing it, in both good and bad ways. Being more conscious of the trades you are making will make you a better player and ultimately win you more games.
The concept of Elixir Advantage is that both players (assuming equal level armies) will receive the same amount of Elixir throughout the course of the game. Playerâs cards will mostly go back and forth killing each other in the center of the board, with towers cleaning up the rest. Itâs not easy to destroy a tower, and with units defending it is pretty much impossible.
The best way to destroy a tower is to do so while itâs not defended. One way is to simply bait or trick a tower into being undefended to steal it (Goblin Barrel, Prince, etc). However, if you can kill high Elixir cost cards with low Elixir cost cards, then you will have extra Elixir to cast cards that your opponent simply cannot afford to defend against.
A common example would be Arrows to Goblin Barrel. Arrows will kill the Goblins, and if you time it right your tower will only take the 30 damage from the Barrel itself. Thatâs your 3 Elixir for their 4 Elixir, a gain of 1 Elixir for you. Do that enough times in a game and youâve essentially earned a âfreeâ card to knock down towers. There are a variety of ways to spend your Elixir, but as a general rule 5 Elixir undefended is enough to destroy a tower (Prince, Giant, Balloon, etc).
Make enough Elixir-gaining trades to generate an advantage of just enough Elixir to destroy a tower, then win. Thatâs generating Elixir Advantage, and itâs the most reliable way to win games in Clash Royale.
Rules:
Proactive and Reactive cards Your Proactive Cards should be cards that are hard to make Elixir-positive trades against that can also threaten Crown Towers. The rule of thumb for Proactive cards is: 'Both players are ticking up towards 10 Elixir and nothing is on the field, I need to play something out of my hand before I hit 10 Elixir, the best choice would be ______'. The cards you feel most comfortable playing blind are your Proactive cards. Units that die to Towers without doing damage are effectively wasted Elixir, and thatâs Rule #1:
Play your situational Proactives when you are willing to risk they donât have a good Reactive Card
Reactive cards in your deck are there to make a positive Elixir trade with opposing cards. You probably donât bother to cast Arrows on 1 Elixir Skeletons, but are all too happy to hit a Minion Swarm or Skeleton Army. The upside of Reactive cards is they are almost always going to swing the game in your favor when played.
The downside of Reactive cards is that sometimes you encounter decks where the card has no easy targets, and sits in your hand unused. With only 4 cards in your hand, a deck full of Reactive cards with no targets will quickly find itself constrained on options and forced into Elixir-negative trades. This is why you canât just play all Reactive cards and expect to win.
Know Your Reactive Cards and their Matchups
Elixir costs matter, for example:
(you are spending 3 Elixir to kill 2 Elixir that was going to die to your Tower anyways)
Trading Health vs. Elixir vs. Time - Making Good Trades
Itâs important to never lose sight of the end goal. The goal is to win the game by having more Crowns with 0:01 on the clock, and winning a game 1-0 is the same as winning it 3-0. A common mistake I see is players overcommit to a defense to prevent ALL damage to their own Towers. Your Crown Towers are big boys, they can take care of themselves in a fight. You donât need to Arrows a pack of 3 Minions, the Tower will take care of them, at the cost of Health over Time.
So far, weâve talked about Elixir as the main resource in the game. The other two resources are Health (of your Towers) and Time (until the game ends). Itâs impossible to evaluate the Elixir cost without considering itâs impact on the other two. Skeletons will kill a Giant (a gain of 4 Elixir!), but if the Giant destroys a Tower first, was it worth it? Maybe, if that 4 Elixir you saved takes their Tower, but you can only make that call knowing much Time is left in the game.
When Troops die to Towers, that is a player cashing in Elixir for enemy Health. The winner of the game is the person who can deal ~2000 damage to one or more lanes before the game is over. Note that the only Health point that counts is the last one. Towers donât weaken or get worse with damage, a Tower with 1 HP will win the game as much as a Tower with full HP. Develop a feel for when you are comfortable taking a few hundred damage on a high Health tower instead of Elixir to defend a push that would take care of itself. That Elixir could be spent on Proactive cards!
These are the sorts of evaluations you will have to make dozens of times in a single game of Clash Royale and will mean the difference between winning and losing. A common trick is playing a Prince in the opposite lane you are getting pushed in, as a proposal of âSpend Elixir away from your push or lose a Tower - pick oneâ - should you defend or not? You could answer that play multiple different ways with the same deck depending on the state of Crown Towers and how much time is left, for example:

Itâs a lot to digest, but this article covers every important concept you need to balance in your head while playing Clash Royale:

Deck Strategy/Explanation
This deck can handle a variety of different situations because it combines many different kinds of cards from tanks to range and air attackers to swarms. I usually start slow with this deck so I can see what the other player has and know how to combat. This deck is great for setting up two lines of attack. The Goblin Hut on your âfake outâ lane will help you combat a variety of attackers that may come at your tower. Meanwhile, you can save up elixir to deploy heavier combos. I will often throw down a giant behind one of my towers to let it build momentum, and then when it hits the bridge follow it with a witch and prince, witch and spear goblins or prince and spear goblins. Any of those three combined make a nearly unstoppable force. Sometimes it means you may have to sacrifice a bit on the âfake outâ tower â possibly even losing it, but you will usually take out their side tower and deal considerable damage to your opponent's king tower. If he or she is really caught off guard, you can often push more troops right behind that power combo and take down the king tower seconds after the first tower goes down.

Deck Strategy/Explanation
This deck is great for two-lane fighting. The barbarian hut and goblin hut combined on the same side can make powerful defense and even crushing offense if your opponent isnât paying attention. Laying those down can allow you to attack on the other lane without worry too much about what might be happening to your tower over there. Meanwhile, the witch, Giant and spear goblins or baby dragon can be a powerful force thatâs difficult to stop from inflicting damage. You can surprise you opponent with this combo by letting them spend all their elixir on the side where the barbarian hut and spear goblins are attacking. You may take some damage on that side waiting for your elixir to build up but it wonât be huge. Once you get to 10, drop your Giant and Witch right at the bridge and quickly follow with the spear goblins. It will catch your opponent off guard and make it difficult to combat since he/she will have little elixir.

I love this deck. It's gotten me tons of wins. It has a great mix-up but with extreme power. When a goblin hut is in the back and a giant skeleton and a baby dragon combo in the same lane, the attack is ruthless. The witch/dragon/spear goblins take care of any air attacks against me. The Valkyrie helps with powerful troops like the hog rider or prince. The arrows take out hordes quickly. The rocket can destroy a tower in a last second pinch, or do damage a tower and take out 2-3 huts simultaneously.

Deck Strategy/Explanation
I have gotten many 3 crown wins with this deck. It helped me push all the way up to 1900 trophies. I usually start the match by placing the giant behind the tower and then reinforce it with witch and musketeer. If the opponent decides to counter my push, I will just reinforce my push with minions or archers and goblins. The knight is a great counter or distractions for the Prince, Wizard or Giant Larry.
